But yesterday a spokesman for the President clarified that she had been shot in the calf but was alive.
"This week has been a reminder of what we're about as a people," Obama said.
Police say he then went to his car and got a metal pole but was scared off by a passer-by who intervened.
Not much later he launched another grenade, saying he didn't want his children dating white New Zealanders.
Pfizer is now seeking approval in numerous countries for treating children with pulmonary arterial hypertension.
That means that an American child is twice as likely to die before reaching the age of five as a child in Finland, Greece, Iceland, Japan, Luxembourg, Norway, Slovenia, Singapore or Sweden, the report says.

Just last week he likened a fellow politician to Hitler, upsetting New Zealand's Jewish community with his "disgraceful" comments.
He also insisted he had not intended to run the presidential race naked, claiming a pair of shorts he borrowed had come off accidentally.

I met a white New Zealander once. Once is enough. I joke. It was way too much.
Believe you me, New Zealand is the Ireland of Australia. Or Tasmania is the New Zealand of Australia as the Ireland of itself. Whereas, Jamaica is the Ireland of America, which is the Mongolia of China.
