Clashes escalate in Yemen after crackdown

Ever wonder what it would be like to orbit the Earth at a really high rate of speed? Well, wonder no more.
ACCUSED people smuggler Ahmad Ahmad has pleaded not guilty in a Darwin court to bringing 49 asylum seekers into Australia last year.
Among the victims was a small child, shot through the head.
"It's a big honour," he said. "I wasn't expecting this. It's very humbling."
But monarchist Professor David Flint said it showed a lack of respect.
He said the "most sinister abuses of democracy" included cases where newspapers had withheld information to obtain a commercial advantage.
He says his Adelaide parishioners, Navy personnel, friends and family know him as an honourable and trustworthy chap.
It is not yet known which charities are set to benefit.
