PIPPA Middleton may have friends and family in high places, but that hasn't prevented the Duchess of Cambridge's car being clamped.
"A number of other residents of the caravan park have intervened in the incident and she's been punched and kicked by them and suffered some injuries," Inspector Woolsey said.
The driver of the car, Mr Guy, admitted he had been drinking and taking prescribed painkillers the night of the incident and had been, earlier.
"It's all about understanding what coffee can be," he said.
Pointing to his wrist watch, he added: "This watch is a gift."
Local members of the Short Statured People of Australia have condemned the Duchess of Cambridge, saying it is just one more reason to use public transport.
But she was remembered fondly by her neighbours in Camden, the creative but gritty neighbourhood where she lived on and off painkillers for years.
nvestigations are continuing.
