Thousands attend funeral of executed U.S. convict Troy Davis

Thousands of people packed a church in the U.S. state of Georgia on Saturday for the funeral of Troy Davis, who was executed because of claims by his advocates that he was innocent.

The United States, a key Somali government supporter, has condemned the "complete disregard for human life".

Weidemann, a self-described protestant Christian, suggested some possible solutions.

AFL chief executive Andrew Demetriou said Meat Loaf "gave it his best" during his grand final pre-match show, amid criticism of the US rocker's performance.

The teams studied dozens of exploding stars, or supernovae, expecting to confirm theories dating back to the 1920s.

Another possibility is that God incarnated multiple times, sending a version of himself down to save each inhabited planet separately.

His lacklustre performance and high price tag, in excess of $500,000, has been widely criticised in the media.

What is quite extraordinary is the rich have far greater capacity to give but unless there is this new norm, this new benchmark of expectation, it just doesn't happen.
