Consumption Malfunction - the original sin.

Trump could run for president

October 5th 2010 22:46
Tycoon and TV star Donald Trump says he's seriously considering running for US president in 2012 because he doesn't like the direction the country's heading.

But by last night he was quickly back-pedalling.

The change was so striking that his girlfriend even agreed to marry him.

Speaking on Fox News, Trump said America used to be respected, but if things kept going the way they were, the US would be easily overtaken by China.

He added: "There are things I can't do now but there are other things I can - I can cross-stitch and I do an awful lot of sewing and cooking."

Trump said if he were to run he'd do so as a Republican, meaning he'd be in direct opposition to current president Barack Obama.

The two famously fell out while working on Simon Cowell's British talent show The X Factor.

Born 136 years ago, the man who inspired Britain to victory in the Second World War is also the oldest person to make the charts.

"The United States doesn't really make things anymore apart from the claim that the illegal invasion of a foreign country in order to secure their resources should be classified as war," he said.
