They may live in the lucky country but Australians are in denial about their ever-expanding waistlines and claim to be the most unhappy in the world.
Australian diggers are finding themselves exposed on the frontline because their American-made camouflage pants are tearing apart.
But despite such figures the public awareness of the link between alcohol and cancer is low, the coalition says.
"It's a ticking time bomb," says Cassandra Goldie, chief executive of the Australian Council of Social Service.
She is dressing Collingwood star Scott Pendlebury and his girlfriend Alex Davis in Versace from Milan; Magpie Leon Davis's partner Janelle Graham in Carl Kapp; Demon Nathan Jones's partner Jerri Hewitt in Carla Zampatti; Eagle Darren Glass's wife Alicia in Alex Perry and Bulldog Matthew Boyd's wife Kate in Lisa Ho with Christian Louboutin shoes and Louis Vuitton clutch.
Berlusconi loyalists, however, rallied to defend the premier and said he would not be described as being bald, about 40 and 165cm tall.
Claudia Elitok, of Berlin Police, said: "He speaks fluent English and a few words in German.
"That's why I've decided to work on Saturday (the Jewish Sabbath), so no-one would be walking by and see a naked person half a mile away and be offended," he said.
